Brighton, A Seaside Town

Today's trip was to Brighton, a seaside town in southeastern England . We left London at 9:00am, and it probably took us about an hour to get there. Before I left, I dressed on the warmer side because it was overcast and a bit chilly when I looked out the window. However, upon arriving at Brighton, I was surprised to discover that it was beach weather and I felt like Santa in Florida! hahaha Also in the area was the Royal Pavilion (which we took a tour of, though unfortunately there were no pictures allowed inside :( ), which is done in the style of the Taj Mahal on the exterior, but inside is lavishly Oriental.

One part of the tour led us to a balcony which oversaw a garden area in the back, and down there was a wedding party taking pictures! I tried to get the best possible pictures of them, but the bride and groom had their backs to me the whole time. By the time I finally made it out of the Pavilion, the bride and groom were (*gasp*) right in front of me posing by their wedding car! Picture time!

Oh yes, and I also attempted to take a video of the back end of the Royal Pavilion when I came out, sorry for the poor quality and size of it! I only later realized what settings I had my camera on when it was too late.

After leaving the Pavilion, I walked around on the pier, where there were tons of shops and where, at the end, were amusement park rides like a small roller coaster, bumper cars, a haunted house, etc. All along the beach were even more shops, restaurants, artists, and fortune tellers/tarot card/palm readers. I was surprised to note that the beach had no sand whatsoever, it was all rocks!

**I promise I will add in the rest of the pictures later, the site is giving me an error message! >:O **
