Woah. I can't believe it's been 1 week since I've written anything here, sorry bout that! It's been a boring week for the most part, which resulted in an onslaught of homework/reading. YAY.
Tuesday night my Shakespeare class and I went to a production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, performed by a completely Indian cast in English and at least 6 Indian dialects! I really liked it, a lot of the actors were also street performers in India, and so they did a lot of hanging off of ropes from the ceiling and acrobatics. All the costumes were really colorful, and I may try to take a couple of pictures from the program I bought. However, I also think that if I had not read the play previous to seeing the live performance, I probably would have been lost.
Tomorrow, I am going on a day trip to Stonehenge, Avebury Circle and Silbury Hill! We leave at 8:45 in the morning, and should take about 1.5 hours to get to Stonehenge. We leave there at 12pm, and about another hour from that time we should arrive at Avebury Circle. Silbury Hill is then a very short distance from Avebury Circle. The whole trip sounds really exciting, and I will be sure to take more than enough pictures!! (I'll start crossing my fingers now for good weather!)
